Labyrinth is returning to the screens alongside a special addition Blu-Ray Release to celebrate it’s 30th Anniversary!
Not only did I voice the Fireys in the Labyrinth backn in 1986 but I also sang along the legend David Bowie on the track. Working alongside David Bowie and the Henson team is one of my fondest memories, and I cannot believe it has been 30 years! Although the legend lives on and it’s great to see it returning to the big screen.
Nostalgic as I am, I happen to have the only known copy of the original song for the movie, which I sang alongside Bowie.
This track did not make the final movie and was r-edited into the ‘Chilly down’ song for the final version. Take a look at some of my images with Bowie and the Henson team whilst listening to the only copy of this original track below.
